Isle of Wight Wizards 13 >> Chichester Chargers 11

The Wight Wizards played host to the Chichester Chargers on Sunday night in what turned out to be an extremely close encounter!

The Chargers, searching for their first win of the season, called upon their number one seed Tim Vail to help with proceedings.

Tim and the Wizards Number one seed, Callum Arnott, had a tight first game but the experience and and array of tight shots from Tim prevailed with the visitor winning 3-0. The Wizards were victorious in the other two singles games, with 2nd string Paul Sitch overcoming a resolute Stuart Vail 3-0, whilst Darren Snudden at 3rd String coasted to 3-0 victory over the up and coming and impressive junior Cameron Vail.

The doubles matches were a close affair with the visitors winning two of the matches with an identical scoreline of 2-1 whilst Darren and Paul won by the same margin against Stuart and Cameron.

Overall a great match for the crowd in attendance. The Wizards taking the narrow match victory by a scoreline of 13-11.
